London police discovered a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no water while quivering. It endured the difficult ordeal. Animal advocates described it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers discovered a newly described monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery occurred during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
