The celebration is observed around the world as a solemnity with Eucharistic processions and blessings and Benediction. Usually occurs from May 21 to June 24, depending on the liturgical calendar. A procession after Mass is common, with the Eucharist displayed in a monstrance. Many regions include outdoor processions as part of the traditions, flower petals and floral displays, and Benediction after the procession.
