The US Supreme Court has authorized the execution of Christa Pike in Tennessee. Two lethal injections were administered, but witnesses and her lawyer say Pike is still conscious. The execution attempt was stopped, and medical care was provided to Pike. The Supreme Court's decision allows the execution to proceed.
